Usher Ministry Activities
Scheduled Meetings:
Ministry meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of every other month at 10 am.
Training Sessions:
Our ministry is in a high state of readiness, with regular training both on the meeting date and Sunday mornings to receive the days instruction for service.
Outreach Ministry:
Outreach is accomplished every other month in between our regular scheduled meetings. Every 3rd Saturday of the month, our ministry attends Rivarde Juvenile Detention Center at 12:45 pm.
Church Activity:
The Senior Ushers plan several activities throughout the year, such as the Annual Prayer Breakfast, Usher’s Workshop and Ministry Retreat.
Annual Social:
During the month of December, the ministry will host their annual social at the home of one of the members or at the church.
Outings Outside of our Church:
We are responsible for Prayer Fellowship as indicated on the Church’s calendar. We are also asked periodically to attend visiting churches with the Pastor according to his itinerary, as well as various Annual Days of other Usher Ministries.
